I planted two apple trees suited to Florida late last October -- Golden Dorsett and Anna.

We had a very mild winter and they retained some green leaves throughout. However, except for suckers coming up from the roots, they appear dormant. No change other than the existing leaves are looking a little worn.

My fig tree is growing well, and I have blueberries on all my bushes, but these apples appear dormant still.

Is this normal? We are zone 9a.
