Apple Tree for North Vancouver

I am trying to get some recommendations for the best apple tree to plant in North Vancouver? We want it for eating only mostly. I have a son that eats tons of apples. We like to buy Gala and Pink Lady from the store, but I don't think they are self fertilizing? Can anyone recommend something comparible ?
