apple tree flowering

one of my apple trees starting to flower again .. is this normal? i have apples ready to pick..

 

We get that all the time in Southern California, and many summer apple varieties will set two crops a year. Pink Lady will blossom all the way to November. I don't know why it does that, nor could I get any good answers. It doesn't seem to hurt the fruit set next spring.
