looking for a diagnosis for my three year old apple tree. The bottom leaves came out but all other leaves never emerged (buds did swell though). There looks like there might be scale on the branches. I sprayed with dormant oil in november and february. Any ideas? Will this cause permanent damage? Can I do anything now. thanks a bunch Drew
need more info, and/or pictures. could be a european canker issue restricting terminal growth or it could be something totally different. any more clues to be had?
