We were there! Wife and sister-in-law went for the apples. I just wanted to see the gardens. The guy at the ticket booth for the tasting was less than polite I thought. "Sold out. Next year come early." Like everybody lives within a few blocks of the University. Oh well. So Lillian and Harumi got in another long line for another tasting (of 4 varieties I think) and I thought to myself: " I know what an apple tastes like." and I spent a really nice hour wandering through the gardens by myself. I'll be back when there aren't thousands of other people there. I don't handle crowds very well any more. But thanks for the excuse to get there. Now its become a destination. Carl
