I have two tulip trees, each well over 150 feet high. Lowest branches are at about 40 feet. They are located within 20 feet of my deck, so each spring, I deal with the sticky honeydew rain and my deck is covered with sooty mold. They are obviously infested and most aphid control options seem to be for trees that are accessible i.e. chemical, spraying water. I did read about releasing Ladybugs, but that sounds to be a hit-or-miss solution. Any suggestions for treating these gigantic trees? (Or should I have them removed...) Thank you.
