Anyone know what this is?

    A friend of mine is trying to identify this plant. Anyone have any ideas? All I really know about it is that it's currently about 3 feet tall and roughly 3 feet wide and that it blooms around May to June here in New England. The pics are kinda crappy because they were taken with a cell phone.
