My husband planted one of those seed "carpets" in our flower bed. The bag said, "English Garden". The flowers are now blooming, and since he threw away the bag, I have NO clue what they all are. I hope my attachment works. The picture is of one of the flowers. It looks like I took the picture from the underside, but this is the flower "face". I would appreciate anyone letting me know what kind of flower it is.

(it also comes in blue )

Many plant identification posts here these days. There is also a free Name That Plant forum at GardenWeb.

If I wanted to show you another photo of another flower or three.....would I post it here, or start a new thread? I am kinda new to this. Also, where is "Garden Web"? Is it separate from this site? (sorry to be so uninformed)

I think new thread would be preferred by moderator. He also has links to GardenWeb and other web sites under Forum Help near the top right of this page.

Thanks from me too, Ron. (I was just about to post the very same question when, there it was, the same little blue flower!) Very glad to know what it is :-)

We have only two, but oh how I love those two little blue flowers! Same story as you: husband spread seed mixes, and I'm left to decipher. Attached is one of the two. Good luck with your gardening adventures :-)
