hi, Anyone know the name of this weeping tree ? Found this weeping tree in my neighbour's front yard but he does not know the name as well, so would like to know the name so I can go to nearby nursery to see if i can find ( will be great if you know where to get it in the lower mainland, I am in Coquitlam, BC), I can email the full size photo if needed.
Weeping cultivar of Japanese snowdrop tree - you can even see the characteristic pellet-like fruits of this species.
Thanks Ron. I visited a local nursery with the name you provided and they came up with a 'weeping snowbell'. I am not too sure if snowdrop and snowbell are the same though they said YES, since the 'snowbell' they have in a 20 gallons pot seems more like a upright tree than a weeping tree ( I forgot to take a photo ), plus the 'snowbell' in the nursery I saw does not have leaves yet while my neighbour's 'snowdrop' has the full developed leaves already.
