This is a climbing rose my mom had that she said bloomed in early June and again in September. But I know it bloomed all summer because I was always picking bouquets. It had a beautiful scent. It might be an old rose (70’s at least maybe older), she was notorious for taking cuttings of things from house to house when we moved. I’d know the name if I heard it, I just can’t remember it. lt grew beautifully in Abbotsford until the neighbour damaged the roots putting up a fence. Unfortunately this picture is the only one I have, but it does capture both sides of the leaves and all the shades of the petals.
maybe a name on this list is familiar to you - Vancouver Rose Society Which Rose? there is also rose.org is it Peace?
