hi, I'm looking for a zone 5 dogwood tree, an alternifolia (pagoda) or kousa or rutgers series that reaches maximum height between 12'-15'? alas, no florida's because they get too sick here...also prefer non-variegated leaves. all the info I find is contradictory, so any guidance is appreciated! First understand that none of them grow to a certain universally predictable height and then come to a complete halt, unless they have entered a decline - in which case they will also have begun to deteriorate visually. Given enough time even some seemingly quite dwarf trees can become impressively large. That said, a weeping form like 'Lustgarten Weeping' might work for you, as you may never see it grow too tall on your site.

If that one is fully hardy there.
