I bought a few miniature or dwarf plants from a nursery that had the Fanciful Gardens from Iseli. I heard from a different nursery that these plant need to be planted in the shade and that they are babies meant for bonsai.

But on Iseli website they don't just use them for Bonsai, they are used for railway gardens, small gardens, troughs, as well..

I'm trying to figure out how much sun they can receive. Some of the plants are boxwood, hinoki cypress, juniper, false variegated holly (osmanthus) spirea, fernspray cypress.

The care of the plant will vary with the individual. Probably the best thing to do is to go to the Iseli site and look up the individual plants you purchased to see their care requirements.

If you click the plant type on the bar at the left it will lead you to lists of the plants, then click the plants for descriptions.

Thanks. I have done that but was thrown off by this other Nursery Worker.

I went to your link and it seems I gained more ideas this time because i spend hours on that site. So much to look at and read about, so my mind must get fuzzy! LOL

I have the perfect container so I'll get my son busy on moving it for me to prepare to plant these plants. They have been in the top of my ZEN fountain to water and have received part shade, but they definitely need more attention now.

They did suggest using a Japanes Maple as a source of shade. I'm going to put the container on my deck so I can pay attention to it better until I know how they all grow. Thank you again for your help!
