    Hi everyone,
I would like to learn about BC's native plants and am wondering if there are any clubs, courses, or short walking tours that I could participate to gain more knowledge of local plants.
I started working as a kayak guide this summer and found sharing the little knowledge I do have made my trips much more interactive, so I would love to learn more for next season.
Any information would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks

A popular reference book is Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast by Pojar & MacKinnon. It's got great photos, descriptions and talks about how the plants were used by First Nations.
