I've just freed up a bunch of room in my garden after pulling out my peas. Are there things - onions or spinach or something - I could plant now for a fall crop?

    Thanks!

Lettuce, Spinach, and all the other leafy greens, for sure. Peas and Bush Beans will also grow fast enough to give you another crop. If you think that fall's going to linger, you can also plant the faster indeterminate tomatoes for harvest in early October.

Much can be done to extend the growing season with cold frames, cloches, etc. as well as planting in protected areas that will stay warmer into the approaching cold weather.
    Time flies...fall is nearly here!
