Any palm experts?

    The attached is in the New Caledonia section of RBG; have been trying to match and came up with Chambeyronia macrocarpa; but so don't know palms. The fruits came and went before photo op.

    Have you already ruled out Rhopalostylis?

    I agree it looks very like Rhopalostylis sapida, the flowers also. The only similar looking New Caledonian palm I can think of is Kentiopsis oliviformis, but can't locate a shot of its flowers for comparison.
