any look alikes for this boletus

    I found alot of these mushrooms latly that looked just like this so I Was wondering if there were any look alikes.

    Im not going to eat it since this was founf out of this state, (IN abundance)
    and I do not have any here I am just wondering if there are any simialy looking mushrooms.

    These also Bruised blue on the stem
    These were found throughout the woods
    I remember finding them also by pine tree's, but cannot remember what other type of tree.
    (I usually take note of it, )

    I will see ifI can gather more, and get a picture or spore print, now that I have a camera.

    Boletes are a big group, and I can think of many that look more or less like the top photo on that linked page.
    I'm not familiar with B. queletii, likely as its tree associates are not frequent in my area, so perhaps someone from your region in this forum can weigh in on the boletes in your area which look like this.
    A photo of your specimen would be helpful.
