Indoors it looks nice and green but drops leaves.
Outdoors goes dark and ugly but leaves get thick and strong.
What is it? What conditions does it need? Less water? More water? Less sun? More sun?

    Thanks ShaSteve

Where I live, succulents are a nice fill-in bed under firs, which don't like much summer water, so lots of usual plants won't grow there. They get enough summer sun to thrive & bloom, and like it dry then.

Luck me. I bought the same plant as " no name" last week and was searching for it. Sorry to interrupt your thread ShaSteve, but you would like to see how it looks when a bit more taller.
Thanks to Silver surfer for naming but pls warn me if I am mistaken.
    Thanks.

Wow thanks Everyone, I guess its the ugly duckling that grows to be a swan.
I notice all the pics show the leaves curl upwards but my plant the curl down.
Would this be a sign of too much water? My wife loves to water it too much I think.

    Cheers ShaSteve
