    Hi all,

I've had this growing in my garden for a couple of yrs now but a couple of weeks ago four 'shoots' appeared literally overnight! As you can see they're very tall and they're still growing!!

Any ideas what plant I have here and also will those ends of the shoots open to shopw flowers? If so, is there anything I can do to help bring the flowers out?

    Thanks for any help

    Jack

Looks like Phormium tenax to me. A species of Agavaceae from New Zealand fairly popular in southern Britain.
