Any ideas what these two bushes are??

    Hi. I have two bushes out front that are starting look look a little ragged and I would like to tidy them up a bit. Before I do that however I want to make sure I know what they are. Here is a shot of the plant and it's close up. Please see next post for the other bush I need help identifying.
