This is a very slow growing plant. It grows like a vine, with a long central stem and leaves along it. It is covered in thorns, but has no flowers or berries that I can see.

It was found growing in a planting bed.

I live along side a creek in the Dallas area. These grow all over the place. They don't seem to be easy to eradicate.
