    Hello all,
    My name is Teresa and my grandfather gave me a tomato seed "directly from Italy " Any idea what this plant is?

    Those are tomatoes, which come in practically any color and shape, especially the heritage varieties.

    Welcome to the forums.
    Looks like an ox heart variety, like 'Cuor di Bue'.
    There are hundreds of Italian tomato varieties.
    If you know the location in Italy it came from you might be able to track down a variety name.
