    Hello,

I'm hoping someone can identify this shrub. Throughout the course of the year the colours turn from pale green to a creamy colour, eventually finishing with this pink-red shade. It's a lovely plant, and was part of the garden when we moved into the house.

    Thanks for any help!

One of the lacecap cultivars of Hydrangea macrophylla . The pale, droopy appearance was probably due to infertility and drought, or just drought. I suspect if it was watered more often it might also green up.

Thanks so much for solving the mystery, Ron! Your help is very much appreciated. And I will ensure the plant gets more water from now on!
