Thanks for the help. I keep it by the window and water it about every 3-4 weeks. Does anyone know what it is and if it flowers? Thanks for the help!
Not a cactus. Peperomia ferreyrae, an epiphytic, succulent from Peru. The shredded bark in the container also is consistent with this. It also appears similar to Senecio mandraliscae because of the waxy coating on the new foliage, but the older foliage has the characteristic stripes running its length that the Senecio do not. This may be a subspecies or hybrid of Peperomia ferreyrae as the grooves along the length of the foliage is not as deep as one would expect, however this is a mature plant grown indoors. Sometimes this effects the growth characteristics.
