So I was reading about this anthurium, which I have had actually for many years (but like a lot of my plants it got neglected for a long period of time and at this point I am just lucky to still have it at all).
I have been taking good care of it now since August 2018 and it has been making a great comeback. The largest leaf I have is right at 13". I read on IAS site and also on the old Exotic Rainforest site that leaves usually get to 12". Has anyone had a plant that had larger leaves? Just curious. Want to see if this one keeps growing larger

When I first saw your photo I assumed it was less than half that size. Wow! Now I have to have one. Nice job growing that out.

Thanks Tom! Someone else told me that they have had an 18" leaf. It will be fun to see how big it gets. It seems like crystallinum is harder to find that clarinervium, which seems to be the darling of the moment. I have a hybrid plant I bought off of eBay years and years ago, A. besseae x magnificum. It started small for a long time and almost withered away at one point. Now its a monster. I don't know how big the leaves will top out but the biggest one here (2nd photo) is 15" already. The first photo with the 10" leaf is a pup I propagated. And its a very interesting plant...it seems to not be able to decide whose genetic history it is going to express. Leaves come out different shapes, some elongated and pointed, some roundish. The veining and sheen of the leaves can also be different leaf to leaf.

In the previous posting, is that Anthurium besseae x magnificum?
    Those leaves are so beautiful.

Thank you cutler! The first photo in the first post is A.clarinervium. The one directly above, the 2nd post, are both A. besseae x magnificum.
