Kind of Archidendron? Fruits are resembling Archidendron lucyi (Mimosoideae). And leaves fit with Mimosoideae. I'm not sure, if it's related at all, but maybe this is still useful hint. Archidendron lucyi - Wikipedia Archidendron hendersonii - Wikipedia
With many thanks to Rolando Perez for giving me the id. forestgeo.si.edu/perez-rolando " Quote...."It is about Cojoba rufescens in many books it appears with the synonym of Pithecellobium rufescens. Family Fabaceae (Leguminosae).
Can you tell if those leaves are single compound or is that a single leaf in the first photo? I would guess the Fabaceae subfamily Fabaceae: Caesalpinioideae - Rainforest Plants (wheatonma.edu), except I've already lost the page that said that subfamily often has fruits that are stacked in the pods, like Lifesavers. That page has a Tropical Resources link on the sidebar with several resources from central America: Tropical Biology Resources - Rainforest Plants (wheatonma.edu) I haven't looked at them yet. If you check out any that seem very useful, you could suggest them for the Outdoor Tropicals Resources | UBC Botanical Garden Forums page.
