This flower is one of several, some white and some pink. They are growing on piles of transplanted soil and have appeared for the past few years, starting two years after teh soil was dumped there. I am sure the seed must have come by bird carrier since I have not seen the plant before. Flower diameter is approximately 4-5 cm. with plant height up to .75 m. The plant forms a bush about .5 - .75 metre diameter. The two photos are of the top of the plant with the blossom and the seed pods and then the stem of the plant with it's leaves, deeply cut with narrow lobes. The leaves are starting to blacken with the cooler weather. Thanks in advance Bruce
