I have received this plant as a gift, but I don't know how to care for it. Can help identify? Seems to be a kind of Orchid, planted in crushed rocks. Thanks.

My guess re. Orchid was based on the white root close to the top of the crushed rocks, and also the leaf form. Don't know enough to make a determination. I added two pictures of these roots too.

    Thanks Chris!
I searched for pictures of Bamboo Orchid on the WWW. The leaves seem to be longer and thinner. Mine has leaves with kind of redish edges, stiff, and most less than 2 inches long. The stem is redish also. Still looking!
