    Hi all,
Got another Echinopsis in flower. Any help with full i.d. would be appreciated. Also a quick question as to whether Echinopsis will cross pollinate easily between varieties?

The one in the link is too tall but I did find E. arebaloi which could be it. Thanks for the link, very useful site now added to my favourites.

Yes, it does look very much the same. E. arebaloi flowers only open at night. Does your cactus flower open at night? - Millet

The photo was at about 7:00 am and the flowers were starting to close (notice the petals are beginning to curl) by about 9:30 they were fully closed. There's been a few times I've had something flower overnight on me and just caught the last moments.

My Echinopsis and Lobivia do cross-pollinate whether I want them to or not, thanks to visiting bumblebees, so I think the answer is "yes".
