Another BYC (Beautiful yellow composite) for identification, please.

    I believe it is Coreopsis. Please confirm or correct. What species? The plant is about 6' tall, rhizomatous, but not invasive.

    Looks like Rudbeckia laciniata.

    Thank you, Tyrlych. It looks like it was an especially tough one! It is definetily not a “coneflower”, so I would never have an idea that it could be a Rudbeckia! But one of the varieties of Rudbeckia laciniata it is (Probably the Outhouse Plant, Rudbeckia lacinata "Hortensia").
    It grows here in a dry, sandy soil so it is not as bushy and tall as it could be. I have seen it in a couple of other places with more moist soil, it was much more bushy there.
