I'm back again with yet another bug that seems to like my roses - ugh.
I'm growing a climbing rose in my patio container, and I'm completely new to gardening, so I treat every new bug with suspicion!
I've found two of these gross-looking crawlers in the soil recently. I've poked around the internet a bit, but I can't figure out what it is, or if I should be concerned about it.
    Any help would be appreciated!

That's a centipede - you don't need to be concerned about them, as they eat the larvae and adults of harmful insects. Very few species are herbivorous, and the orange ones are definitely insect predators. Check out the class Chilopoda for more information on them.
