Thank you. In late spring and early summer, mounds of deeply divided, softly hairy foliage is topped with elegant, lilac-backed white flowers that have a central cluster of deep purple-blue anthers. http://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/anemone-leveillei/classid.2000006617/ http://www.perennials.com/plants/anemone-leveillei.html I don't see lots of petals but anything else is very the same as described
Because of the lower number of petals (sepals), it's more likely to be Anemone rivularis. According to the Alpine Garden Society, A. leveillei generally has eight sepals (the specimen I grow has 7-8 per flower), however A. leveillei is often considered to be a form of A. rivularis (and so, many sources show A. leveillei as a mere synonym of A. rivularis, including ThePlantList, but not RHS).
This is funny, because I have pictures of Anemone rivularis from UBC gardeb in my collection and all flowers there have many petals. Leaves look different to me. I post them together
