Wildflowers: An unknown Poaceae

    I need your help urgently!
    I am enclosing 3 pictures of an unknown Poaceae photographed in mid summer in south of Iran.

    Reminds me a bit of Deschampsia cespitosa in growth habit, but the flowerheads aren't right for that.

    Identifying grasses isn't easy from this level of information, it really needs detailed close-up examination of the ligules (where the leaf bends away from the stem) and the spikelets (flowers). Also not easy (for most of us here!) to get information on the species likely to be found in Iran. Can you get access to a library with a set of Rechinger's Flora Iranica? That would probably be the best way to identify it.
