I thought this was an amorphophallus konjac but my friend thinks it may be a dragonus arum. What do you think? I seriously do nothing for it and every year it comes up with more blooms than the last. It smells horrific.
Looks just like dragon arum, which produces the inflorescence at the top of the leaf-bearing stem - as this one is doing. Amorphophalli flower on leafless stems, the leaves being borne separately. http://images.google.com/images?cli...cunculus+vulgaris&btnG=Search+Images&aq=f&oq= http://images.google.com/images?hl=...phophallus+konjac&btnG=Search+Images&aq=f&oq= The dead rat smell passes after a short time.
