Amateur needing help

    I saw this red flower in K.L. and was wondering what its name is and if it would grow in the Far Southern region of Spain? any help welcomed

    Looks like some type of Celosia or Amaranthus. There are many ornamental varieties. These plants are both heat lovers and should do well in southern Spain.
