I am trying to identify the specific plant this is (see attached photo).

It is one of the first plants up in the Spring, seems to be a strong grower, and it is spreading.

The "Seek" app indicates it is some type of Amaryllis plant. Can anybody here confirm that? (I assumed Amaryllis was a more exotic/indoor plant that wouldn't grow wild here.)

    Is it a pest plant?

Would love to see the flowers.
Leaves look rather narrow for Hyacinth.

It is hard to grasp the actual scale from the photo.
Hyacinth can have very narrow leaves:

I'm not so familiar with Amaryllises, those I have ever met, had much broader leaves.

    Ah...common names strike again.

Muscari ...common name Grape hyacinth .....are very different to Hyacinthus...common name Hyacinth.

    Muscari..see 1 and 2.

I know how Hyacinthuses look like. AFAIK, they still have narrower leaves than Amaryllis.

Attached are a couple updated photos.
Some plants are just about to bloom. Some have already been blooming for a while.
They certainly are strong growers, spreading everywhere, and quick to flower.
They are even beating the Comfrey, which I thought was an early bloomer.

Looks like a Grape hyacinth indeed. Not Amaryllis.

Grape Hyacinths grow like weeds; after a few years they are so crowded that most of the plants don't flower. I've been trying to clear our yard of them for years.
