Many people use dormant oil on fruits trees in winter but I'd like to know what else can I use other than dormant oil to protect my fruit trees? Is vegetable oil mixed with dish washing soap effective to protect fruits trees from fungus and insects? If answer is yes, how much vegetable oil and dish washing soap in gallon of water? I hate to use toxic spray on my fruits and vegetables.
