Alternate branching, oval leaves, tree ID needed

    I can't figure out what the species is of this tree. In one of those pictures, it shows the underside of the leaves, which are much lighter (almost white) than the top of the leaves. I haven't seen the tree at any other times in the year so I don't know what type of fruit it bears.

    The tree is in Blair, NE, on the line in between USDA zones 4b and 5a.
