Hello, the following are all from Gran Paradiso National Park in the Italian Alps in early July. Any ID help would be greatly appreciated! Common and/or latin names welcome. 1. These were in a meadow - what are the 2 predominant species? http://www.pbase.com/mshields/image/82843210 2. This is similar to the preceeding but also has daisies (I believe) and a reddish flower http://www.pbase.com/mshields/image/82843212 3. These were at a higher elevation than the previous two. Probably about 7,500 feet http://www.pbase.com/mshields/image/82867684 4. This includes the red flowers from #3 but many others also (is it buttercup in the bacck right?) - would love to know the names of some of the main species in the image. http://www.pbase.com/mshields/image/82867686 Thanks for any help!
