aloe wants to go outside

I want to put my aloe outside, but right now it's 48 degrees and windy. Will that kill my aloe?

I'm guessing you have the species Aloe vera? It needs to be kept frost free & preferably fairly dry when temperatures are cool (<55ºF). So 48º is ok but bring it in when it's forecasted to drop into the 30's.
