Most nurseries that sell tropical plants do not grow their own, but rather order them in from a distributor. Therefore, all you need to do is speak with the manager and have him/her order the plant you want. The other option is mail order. You can mail order from any one of the many nurseries on the internet or auction houses like eBay. Most of my personal collection would be considered rare or exotic and are only available from specialty nurseries/distributors. Just do a general web search for Aloe vera and you should have several hits.
