Aloe aristata?

    This is picture from a friend in Orillia. She found this in Grant's Woods park. Probably, somebody thrown this plant away and it is trying to call it a home - roots cling to the ground.

    Thanks, Lila! Looks like Haworthia attenuata, indeed. Similar species, Haworthia fasciata, should have smooth upper side of the leaves, as haworthia.com explains.
