I have a museum archive of various dry fertilizers — for bulbs and for roses and for rhodos and for hanging baskets / flower planters

is there a readily available brand in SW British Columbia that you’d recommend

    organic?

    or not

    I look fwd to suggestions

is there such an all-purpose, all plants product ?

(If you’re from a diff place, state NPK #s)

Here is an interesting article by Robert Pavlis which discusses fertilizers: What is the Best NPK Ratio for Growing Plants? - Garden Myths
As he points out, different companies disagree on the best ratio for specific groups of plants and also cautions to be aware that your soil may already have enough of some nutrients - phosphorus for example is often not needed at all.

His website, Garden Myths - Learn the truth about gardening (Garden Myths) delves into all kinds of garden-related topics from a scientific point of view.

There is nothing scientific in these myth busting stories. Scientific point of view is published in peer reviewed articles.

Did you even bother to read the article? As a scientist, Robert Pavlis offers his opinions from a scientific point of view.

Mythbusters are a show-business, not a science, despite their claims, that they look myths from a scientific point of view.
