    Hello all,

can someone please help me id this growth?

It started to grow on a bottle after i filled it with red vinegar. I even cleaned the bottle but the thing grew again! I have done a google search on it but sadly, the results were inconclusive.

    Is it dangerous?

    Thanks in advance!

PS. the second pic in attachment was taken only a few days after the first one, the only reason that I haven't thrown the pot away is the "scientific" curiosity. The growth is taking form on the vinegar bottle only, and only after I have actually filled it with it :)

Is your bottle a glazed pottery (made of clay and glazed)?

Not sure about the material; by the looks of it, it could easily be clay.
