If I let the reverted branch take over, will the root system prevent the reverted tree grow as big as the normal picea glauca? Does anyone has an example of a similar reversion to share?
I've seen typical branches erupting out of dwarf Alberta spruces many times. Have also seen one with the dwarf base represented by the branch structure only, the live foliage having long since become all non-dwarf. So, no, reversions of these are not inhibited by having sprung out of a dwarf form.
Ron Thanks. So the reverted tree will eventually grow and the root will spread as big as the normal picea glauca?
