African Violet

I have an african violet that bloomed ages ago(probably almost a yr now) and while the plant looks healthy and leaves seem to be sprouting I have no flowers since I bought them :( What am I doing wrong..?

I'd say that it probably isn't getting enough light to bloom. How much light is it getting a day?

 

while i did place it next to a window the shades allow only diffused sunlight in ..should i relocated the plant? most spots in the house are dark and the place where it is now is the brightest in the house ... hope this helps

i placed mine in a window that gets morning sun and it started blooming right away .. so try and get it in a window closest to the morning sun ..

Yes, they did bloom indeed..but only after I left :)
