On the leaves and on the stalk at the base of the plant are fuzzy white things (see photos). Anyone know what they are and how to care for the plant?

African Violets are subject to infestations of mealy bugs, causing white cottony patches on the leaves and stems.
Your plants should be isolated from any other plants. A good non toxic control is to touch each bug with a cotton swab or "q tip" dipped in 70 percent isopropyl alcohol. Keep checking and re-treating as necessary. Avoid misting or rinsing the leaves, as these fuzzy leaved plants really resent that treatment and may develop powdery mildew disease as a result.
Your plants look healthy, so hopefully this will do the trick.
