I live in Southern California. Every year my African Tulip tree blooms, however, the leaves are more yellow than they are green. I fertilize it but maybe I am using the wrong kind or not a strong enough application. Any suggestions for a good fertilizer that will make the leaves a nice green? Our soil isn't the best, but I believe it is a fertilizer problem more than a soil problem.
