My daughter is having problems with her new Adenium. She's had it about one month. The leaves started yellowing two days ago and now they are brown. We've searched high and low, but can't seem to find a photo that looks like her plant's ailment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is the watering regime like? Overwatering perhaps?

I would take off the dead and yellowing leaves. If it’s a young plant in full sun you may want to drape some cheese cloth over it so that it does get scorched and perhaps dust some DE around the base and on the leaves (insect prevention). Make sure you’re watering when the soil is completely dry and fertilizer every couple weeks in spring and once or twice a month throughout the summer reducing water and fertilizer in the fall and stopping fertilizer and infrequently watering in the winter since it will go semi dormant late fall. Bring it inside during the fall before temps drop below 55 degrees.
