I cannot remember how this worked, but it's not working now. Click the camera, and six things come up, videos I guess, with no preview and no names. This is impractical. And it's just my media. OK, now I'll click the film strips and paste in the URL of Shirley's video. No, it has to be from an external site. What if I just paste in the URL. Whitcomb in the Wind | UBC Botanical Garden Forums
Yes and no. It goes there, but I want the video imbedded. Back to step one. I'll pick one of my own videos. Click on camera. Select the boxes until I see the one I want. Reply-to-posting_UBCBG-Forums_2017-07-28_0-03-09 by wcutler posted Jul 28, 2017 at 12:37 AM
Wait, click on camera to upload it? No. Go to the top of the page, click Media on the upper right to upload it. Then, while it's still the first one shown, insert it by clicking the camera icon on the toolbar here, selecting one of the squares with three dots and no identifying info. So you'd want to know that the one you want is the first one. I'm only getting an option to select "Your Media". I thought it would be good to have a shared media library, but I'm not seeing that. How did I get one with the thumbnail? And not the others until the 9th one, after which they all have thumbnails. Was that the old system?
On flickr, it's going to bring up the page, not the video, right? Shirotae_GibsonsLandingWinegarden_Willard_20200407_IMG_5974
Linking to a video on IGTV: Vancouver Cherry Blossom Fest on Instagram: “We are taking you for a virtual walk. Can you name some of these cherry blossom cultivars? Let us know in the comments!” Edited - that links to the page, doesn't bring up the video directly. I'll check with vcbf.
