    Hi chimera, I don't have the foggiest clue. I don't know how to delete this thread at the moment so give me time to correct the spelling: 'Kinugasayama'

    Hi Dax, Thinking it may just have been the lighting that makes it appear variegated, it usually isn't as far I'm aware. Remember trying to change a thread title and couldn't figure out how, thought it might need the help of a moderator. Nice maple and conifer pics.

    Chimera - I've uploaded 'at least' 1000 photos to The American Conifer Society's Database. Makes me exasperate air to think of doing it all over again! lol

    I have contacted Daniel M. so when he explains how to fix this, I'll take care of this...

    I also added an extra record for Acer palmatum 'Abigail Rose' but that's because it was not in alphabetical order. But yah, anyway, thank you! No more Maple photos however. This one I simply forgot yesterday.

    "silk canopy or umbrella", Vertrees' 2nd edition. Strongly branched , rounded small tree. Pubescent leaves and petioles in spring. H 15' {5 m.} x W 15' {5 m.} 20 years. Easily grown. Pic 1 - Oct.16/07 . Pics 2 + 3 Oct.10/07
